Sprinkle “Diamond Dust” on any plant during its first phase of growth to halve the remaining time until it is “Fully Grown”.
You can repeat this multiple times, with each sprinkling halving the remaining time over and over again.
To halve the second phase of growth (from “Fully Grown” until “Ready For Harvest”), you will need “Fruiting Dust”.
This can only be sprinkled once per plant, and only by the garden owner.Growth times for Seasonal Plants may vary from year to year!FG = Fully Grown, RFH = Ready For Harvest.

Thanks to Bram, there is now a Wildlife Calculator!
Click the button below to open it in a new window.
Choose plants and food plates and drag them into the garden sample to
see what each plant at specific stages of growth will attract at a glance!

# Special Instructions: The fruit produced by this seed depends upon the pot in which it is planted. You will need to try planting it in different pots to grow the required precious fruits. If a grey flower is produced, the fruit will not be precious and you should try again with a different pot (although you can grow the grey one if you wish!) Finally, the correct pots to use are different for each Garden, (the Limited Edition pots are not required and will always produce a grey flower.)

Herbs

Growing Herbs is not required to progress through the Garden Levels. However, you must grow them if you wish to try Herbalism (from which you can make a decent amount of Gold – it’s well worth doing!) Herbs also come in pretty handy for deterring/attracting certain Wildlife (see the Wildlife Guide for further details).

Magical Mushrooms

When “Fully Grown”, they will help keep the most common of the Fairyland Wildlife (i.e. Mice & Mallards) out of your Garden, thus increasing the chances of more interesting Wildlife visiting. When “Ready For Harvest”, they will burst into colour, and although they lose their deterrent effect on Mice etc, each different Mushroom will then help to attract a specific type of Mythological Wildlife! The first Magical Mushroom (“Fairyland Agaric”) is not a very powerful Mouse deterrent at all (it only rates ‘slightly better than nothing’ on the deterrent scale!!) so you’ll barely notice any difference, although we guarantee that it does have a very slight effect! You will need to complete tasks to unlock more powerful ones. Each new Magical Mushroom you unlock is progressively more powerful, right up until you reach the “Pink Cap”, which is rated an ‘Excellent’ deterrent, and will mean that your Garden will be able to attract even the rarest of Wildlife with relative ease (but of course, this privilege doesn’t come easily!)
Mushroom Pots
Mushrooms can only be grown in Mushroom pots, and are limited to a maximum of 1 in a Garden at any one time.

Jewels of the Forest

Part precious gemstone and part seed, the Jewels of the Forest are extremely rare and much sought-after in Fairyland.
The Fairyland Wildlife are the sole guardians of the Jewels of the Forest; they are not available simply to purchase
from the Shoppe. However, when you are lucky enough to find one (they are occasionally dropped by Wildlife when
spotted), it will be stored for you here in the Shoppe until you are ready to plant it. For information about which
types of Wildlife drop which types of Jewel seed, see the Jewels of the Forest page.
Jewel Pots
Jewels of the Forest can only be grown in Jewel pots.

Zodiacs

Each of the 12 Fairyland Zodiac wildlife are attracted by one of Fairyland’s Zodiac flowers (limited editions,
one available each month in the Gift Shoppe). They are attracted only when the flower is Ready For Harvest
(when it produces a Star Constellation.)
Each type of Zodiac Wildlife drops a different Magical Birthstone for every 10th time you spot
it in other Gardens. These are used to help make Baby Wildlife in your Garden!

Birthflowers

In Fairyland, one of the most important jobs of the Fairies and Elves is to help the Wildlife produce their offspring!
Here’s how:

  • Collect ‘Magical Birthstones’ by spotting Zodiac Wildlife. (Every 10th Zodiac animal spotted drops a different type of Birthstone – see the Zodiac section of the Wildlife Guide for details.)
  • Each type of Baby Wildlife is born from a specific Birthstone, as shown below. You need to leave the correct Birthstone empty in your Garden, and then set up the rest of your Garden to attract the adult version of that Wildlife.
  • When the 10th (or 20th or 30th etc) of the adult animal is spotted in your Garden, it will plant a Birthflower seed in your empty Birthstone.

Plant Guide by Section – Freedom Fairies United (587)
Plant Guide by Section – Freedom Fairies United (588)
Plant Guide by Section – Freedom Fairies United (589)

  • Nurture this seed through flowering and when Ready For Harvest, it will produce a ‘Baby Bubble’!

Plant Guide by Section – Freedom Fairies United (590)

  • Put out the correct food for the new Baby to eat, and you will tempt it out of its Bubble for its first ever feed! (Most Baby Wildlife require a low feeding table… with a few notable exceptions such as the Baby Giraffe and the Baby Kangaroo, which can also reach the high table!)
  • You get an ‘alert’ when the bubble is about to ‘pop’, which works like other Fairyland alerts – anything up to 30 minutes before it happens. (Note: on rare occasions, you may even get twins i.e. two babies from one baby bubble! Each will feed on a different food plate, but only the first visit comes with an alert – the second may come as a surprise!)
  • After the baby has been spotted feeding, the Birthflower can be harvested, and that particular Birthstone will lose its powers (although you can still use it as a regular pot in your Garden if you wish.)
  • Returning Babies! If you are lucky enough to have had 5 of the same Baby Wildlife spotted in your Garden, you will begin to get Mother and Baby returning to your Garden together! Each Mother and Baby will return to your Garden once, and to attract them back, simply set up your Garden to attract the Mother.

Butterpillaflora

As the name suggests, the Butterpillaflora plants are favourites of Fairyland’s Caterpillars and Butterflies! Each seed must be unlocked in turn by completing certain tasks. Butterpillaflora plants cannot be sprinkled with Diamond Dust or Fruiting Dust to speed up their growth – they must be grown naturally. They all take exactly 3 minutes to first ‘sprout’. For full details of how to attract Butterflies and Caterpillars, please see the ‘Butterflies’ section in the Wildlife Guide.

Supershroom

Supershrooms are the only Magical Mushroom to have a 100% deterrent effect on Mice, Mallards and all
Mythological Wildlife while Fully Grown! They also are used to deter certain Fairytale wildlife – either partly
or 100%. Anyone can plant Supershrooms, regardless of your Wildlife Level, however you need to earn them
by collecting either ‘Forest Amber’ or ‘Forest Sunlight’ Jewel Seeds. Additionally, if you have completed the
Butterfly challenge, you can use ‘Forest Ruby’ Jewel Seeds to buy Supershrooms.Supershrooms remain fully grown for 36 hours, during which time they also attract friendly Caterpillars
to your Garden! They have no effect at all once they have become Ready For Harvest.Mushroom Pots
Mushrooms can only be grown in Mushroom pots, and are limited to a maximum of 1 in a Garden at any one time.

Fairytale Seed

Fairytale Seeds are used to attract Fairytale wildlife. Initially, you must work your way through the Fairytales
one at a time. After completing the last Fairytale, you will get a Gnome Table as a reward that can be
used as a third feeding table in your garden.
The Fairytale Toadstool itself always attract a Fairy, which harvests the Bauble into special Fairytale food or plant. We list the end product in columns “Attract” and “Deters”, not the Fairy.
Fairytale Pots
Fairytale Seeds can only be grown in Fairytale pots. Each completed Fairytale unlocks new pots.

Chocolate Candyflower

Chocolate Candyflowers attract Candy Critters. Each individual garden has its own unique key combination to attract
each of the seven critters , Candydevil, Lollipop, Cherrymole, Sweettooth, Sugarsnout, Jellybeak and Chocobug,
through all seven colors, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green Blue, Indigo and Violet.
( SeeWildlife Guide for details on critters)
Chocolate Candyflower seeds can be acquired by attracting Candy Critters. Every 10th attracted & spotted in your garden
will send a random shaped/colored Chocolate Candyflower seed to the misc section of the seed shoppe.
~or~
by spotting the 5th of a Candy Critter in another garden.
You must have an empty hand painted pot in your garden to receive this seed.
The Shape produced will be determined by the critter spotted. The color will be random.

Hand Painted PotsCandyflowers can only be grown in hand painted pots, and are limited to one use. Once a chocolate candyflower has
become RFH and dripped chocolate on the pot, it cannot be used again for Candyflower seeds.
However the pot can be placed in storage and used for other plants
